INTRODUCTION
This Diploma programme is designed to provide people with some of the skills and qualifications that are required to work in the international freight forwarding industry. It develops a cadre of trained middle level personnel for a career in handling matters relating to transport ,clearance through custom, import and export which are useful for import export business organizations, import/export house, customs house agents and shipping companies. The course aims at creating personnel who can easily take over responsibilities of a modern freight forwarding organization handling multi modal transport. Emphasis is laid for the blending of theoretical and applied knowledge with skills that are required to perform effectively in a freight forwarding environment.
