The Faculty of Maritime Operations comprises of four separate departments offering the complete spectrum of certification ranging from Pre-sea Training and Ship Masters’ professional development to competency in Safety and Survival for all seafaring ranks as well as for the industrial sector. The faculty's primary aim is to produce well rounded professional seafarers who have the broad vision and the cutting edge knowledge that is necessary to meet the dynamism and challenge of operating ships of all types.
Our commitment for quality is recognized through the accreditation of DNV Maritime Academy Standard certification and the partnership with the Dalian Maritime University of China in issuing the undergraduate degree in Maritime Science. While mandatory training programmes are fully STCW compliant, the faculty also provides customized training programmes to meet special training needs.
We have a vibrant and student focused teaching community of experienced master mariners, senior deck officers and ex- naval officers.
