CADET TRAINING

The college has a Deck and Engine Cadet Training Programme for which the administration has approved the absorption of foreign students.

Cadet Training schemes have been formulated by laying emphasis on comprehensive shore based training and effective on board training which are monitored by the college by way of periodical assignments.

The course content has been carefully formulated to ensure that trainees become competent officers in the future. All professional subjects are conducted by a panel of experienced Master Mariners and Class 1 Marine Engineers while academic subjects are conducted by lecturers who have had many years of teaching experience at university level.
